How to Paraphrase?

Hello everyone! I would like to share about what is paraphrase actually is on this post. Paraphrase is about taking other person's ideas but change the ideas in our own words. We must paraphrase because when we just copy the person's idea into our report, it means we plagiarize other person's work and it is illegal like I have wrote in my last post. What I had learnt from my lecturer last two weeks, paraphrase is actually can be split into two words which is "par" and "phrase" where par is mean by equal. In paperwork for examples a report or proposal, we need to do research first and find the information that we need and then, in order to write it in the report, we must integrate the ideas from the sources into our own words. As a student, I have a lot of report and paperwork to do and for me it is difficult to put the ideas from the sources into my own words in my paperwork.

However, there are a lot of method to paraphrase someone's ideas which are grammar help method, retelling method and chunking method. Grammar help method is a simplest way to paraphrase among the other method. To stick with the original meaning of the idea, we change the sentences by changing grammar and vocabulary in order to form a new sentences. Retelling method is another way to paraphrase original sentences.first of all, we must understand the text actually means and then we explain the ideas in our own word without changing the ideas. While the last method which is chunking method is usually use when we want to paraphrase long sentences. This is because it is difficult to understand. So that, we can break up and split the original text to nice sentences.

In a conclusion, we must paraphrase the text from the resources to our own words because if we just copy it means like we plagiarize other person's work and there are many ways to overcome the difficulty of paraphrasing.

Are you Believe Whatever you Read from the Internet?

As we know, the most easy tool to get information is the Internet. Most of us are using the internet for learning purposes and communications. In my opinion, we can read whatever provided in the Internet, but, we only can believe the information that has source of references to support their articles (for example). This is because, when references is provided  in the articles means that, the information has been studied by researcher. As a students. we must ensure that information from the Internet is true and we can not trust easily especially the news. we must get the purity of the news before we write about it.
There are a lot of reliable sources that we can obtain from the internet such as search engine, journals, articles and online database journals. all of these sources can believed if the information is supported with references. Besides that, we must carefully and critically choose the information because anyone can write anything that they want in the internet either true or not. So that, we must give full attention when doing research online because some of the information that we gain from internet might not evaluated before published to the internet.

PLEASE AVOID PLAGIARISM ESPECIALLY STUDENTS

First of all, do you know what is plagiarism? Based on what i had learnt, plagiarism is illegal form of copying other person's work or ideas. As we know, as a student we have a lot of assignments, proposals and project papers. Then,we need to do research in order to gain information to complete our tasks. However, many cases that we heard students like to choose easy ways to do their tasks by plagiarize other person's work. They just copy, paste and make the information as their own ideas. Do you know that plagiarize is illegal and court action can be taken? Don't you think that the authors work very hard to create their original work? And you just copying easily?

Students must know the correct way on how to use sources from their research in writing proposals to avoid plagiarism. the appropriate way to use research sources is by read and understand the contents and then synthesize it with other information and our own opinions. Almost students don't think about what will happen when they get caught if they are plagiarize other person's work. based on my experience as a students, if they get caught the lecturer will lowering their students' mark and grade on the assignments or proposal even the lecturer also can failing grade in the course. This is because, the lecturer can detect easily either their students are plagiarized or not because there is application to detect plagiarized work by using Turn It In. Plagiarism is actually can give bad impacts towards the students' grade also their future. This is because they can't think of something to say or give their own opinions. Spontaneously, it can affect the students when getting jobs in their future because they lack of knowledge and can not give their opinions to others extensively.

Last but not least, students must afford and try themselves to create their own ideas and give their own opinions based on what they had researched on their proposals. this is because there are many ways to avoid plagiarism.
